Fever gets a tough card draw

A makeshift Fever side secured a draw at home to a makeshift Cards side at Cuttleslowe Park. Such were the levels of last-minute injuries that players were still being recruited at 23:30 the previous night, regardless of where they were or the state they were in.

Fever started the brighter and forced a number of good saves from stand-in Woking keeper Alan Thomas. Nally, though playing up front for Fever, was knackered after five minutes, demonstrating the lack of fitness that indicated that Fever would need to build up a lead for the opposition
