Dreyer our prayer?

Strong rumours have emerged (probably following an off-the-cuff remark by Jerome Sale on Radio Oxford yesterday) linking former United full back John Dreyer with a return to the Manor. Denis Smith has already been quoted as saying that he has lined up a Premiership left-sided defender to join the side on loan in time for the Wrexham game and 37 year old Dreyer is currently languishing in the Bradford City reserves. In his three years at Oxford Dreyer made 75 league and cup appearances and scored two goals before moving to Luton for £140,000. Of course, it might not be him at all – hopefully it's someone younger, faster and better…
