Conference leaders Dagenham & Redbridge were held to a 0-0 draw at Crawley, who drew with Oxford two days ago, to move one point clear at the top following United's 2-1 defeat at Exeter earlier in the afternoon. Dagenham's cause wasn't helped by the dismissal of David Rainford just after the hour. Crawley dropped one place to 20th, just above the relegation zone, while Exeter have moved up one place to 8th, four points off the play-off places. York City have moved up to third, six points behind United, after their excellent 3-1 win at Morecambe, who are United's next opponents, coming to Oxford on Saturday. Morecambe have dropped out of the play-off zone, to sixth place.
Level on points with York, in fourth place, are Burton Albion, who were held 0-0 at home by mid-table Stafford Rangers. Rovers were 3-0 up at half time, but two goals from Terras' skipper Ben Smith prevented a humiliation. Gravesend & Northfleet stay 7th, despite not having a game today. They visit Grays Athletic on Wednesday.
At the other end of the table, Southport drop back to the bottom after losing 3-1 at Northwich Victoria, despite leading 1-0 at half time.
