Oxford United have been given a huge boost this week, with Us striker Tom Craddock returning to training and loan signing, Andy Haworth, extending his deal for a month.
Craddock has missed the entire start to the season for United after a consistent knee injury has forced him on the sidelines since pre-season. The former Luton Town forward scored 15 goals for Oxford last season in his return to the Football League and many fans consider him to be United's best option up
Craddock took part in light training with the rest of the squad this week and would have been training with Haworth. There are eight first-team players unable to train at the moment and Haworth's impressive debut start over Bristol Rovers is sure to ease Chris Wilder's woes. Wilder has been hunting for more firepower to challenge James Constable since the start of the season, with Rob Hall also on loan at the club.
