Contract Den's

Obviously convinced by the 75% (so far) of voters at the Rage Online voting booth who want him to stay as manager next season, Denis Smith has opened talks with Firoz Kassam about being kept on. He also claims to have spoken to Kassam about some of the out of contract players, although no response has been revealed just yet. Mark Watson and Pål Lundin reveal more about their personal situations in their interview in the next Rage On, on sale prior to the Scunthorpe game on April 29th. The players will return to the Manor on July 5 and their first pre-season game has been pencilled in for July 15 but the opposition has yet to be announced. The Football Licensing Authority has unofficially claimed that it will look upon United's application for an extension at the Manor favourably, as the situation is beyond the club's control. The deadline for the application is April 28th and the FLA Committee will make its decision in May.
