Wigan win, Oxford lose Two goals from Simon Haworth, the first in the 22nd minute, the second in the 90th, ensured that United's first trip to the JJB Stadium ended pointless. United fielded a very young side with Mickey Lewis the only pensioner and Rob Folland the only other player with a decent amount of first team experience.
