Tom's trial Norwegian midfielder Tom Hammerborg is at the Manor on a week's trial this week. 28 year old Hammerborg has played in the Norwegian Premier League for Fredrikstad, Odd Grenland and Moss and would be available on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling. Rumours denied Oxford United today denied that they had any interest in Forest Green Rovers defender Wayne Hatswell (see below). They are still apparently waiting for Onandi Lowe to arrive from Jamaica, scotching rumours that he suffered a broken leg in training today!

Mad Dog put down Mickey Lewis has been relieved of his post at Oxford United. Reserves cookin' United's reserves won again yesterday, for the fifth game in succession. A first half goal from Chris Hackett was enough to give the U's victory despite a lacklustre display from an experienced side.
