United’s end of season was emphatically confirmed this afternoon at Gay Meadow where Shrewsbury, fighting against relegation, destroyed a lacklustre Oxford, who suffered a second-half collapse. Oxford United’s have announced, at last, that they’ve reached a settlement with former manager Graham Rix, who has now left the club. There were three fourth division games played this afternoon. Yeovil extended their lead at the top to four points with a 2-1 win at Boston.
