Oxford United came away victorious from their first pre-season friendly of the new campaign, with a narrow, hard-fought 1-0 win over Oxford City. Oxford United held their annual open day today, with over 2,000 people braving the wind and occasional showers. The players trained and played, with new signings Joe Burnell and Chris Carruthers joining in.
