Apparently Oxford United played a behind-closed-doors friendly at Millwall’s New Den this afternoon. We have no details of the Oxford line-up for the game, arranged to give players of both sides a chance to sharpen up their match fitness, but Millwall won 3-0 after being two up at half-time. As speculated upon yesterday, Dexter Blackstock has indeed been signed by Southampton. There are unconfirmed reports that United’s 17 year old striker Dexter Blackstock, as sponsored by Rage On, has been signed by Southampton, with yesterday’s Guardian suggesting that a fee of ?200,000 had been agreed. Fever had struggled to get a full team for the game against KHIST, but were able to field a side thanks to a debut from Nick in central defence.
