A superb long-range shot from Matt Day, four minutes from time, earned United all three points last night, as they beat second-bottom Crawley Town 1-0. Oxford United lost their 100 per cent home record this afternoon to a determined Grays Athletic, who had been reduced to ten men after Jay Smith (no, not that one) was sent off in the fifth minute.
