Saturday super-score

April 17, 2005

Yesterday’s footy results saw United slip another place, down to 14th in division four, as a result of Cheltenham’s 1-0 win over Northampton. However, Darlington’s 1-1 draw at Mansfield means that United can still reach the play-offs, provided they win all their remaining games, Darlo lose all theirs, the other results go Oxford’s way, and  more ]

Swan too many

April 15, 2005

The last floodlit league match at the Vetch ended with Swansea beating United 1-0, thanks to a goal from Kristian O’Leary a minute before half-time.
