Raging Fever completed back-to-back wins for the first time this season against a useful Burton outfit. The game was the first of the season to be played at the Yellows' traditional home, the Horspath Arena.

Fever made a good start to the game, with some neat play and some decent efforts on the Burton goal. One of these efforts led to a corner, which was taken by Steve Fuller. The corner was perfectly swung in and striker John Matthews rose highest to nod home.
