Oxford United have once again dipped into the loan market, while simultaneously confirming that two other temporary players are returning to their parent clubs. The Us have confirmed the loan signing of Bury winger Andrew Haworth on a one-month emergency loan – clearly United being mid-table constitutes an emergency. The 22-year old former Blackburn Rovers midfielder goes straight into the first-team squad to face Barnet at Underhill this Saturday. The Shakers, who sit 19th in Division Three, have agreed for the youngster to gain first team appearance after a frustrating start to the season at Gigg Lane after promotion last season. Haworth has made two first-team starts in cup matches in addition to six league sub appearances this season for Bury.
Haworth moved from Ewood Park to Bury in summer 2010 on a free transfer, following loans to Rochdale and Gateshead, before turning down an offer from York City. The tricky wing-wizard made 46 appearances last season, including 3 goals, helping Bury achieve automatic promotion after finishing 2nd in Division Four behind the champions Chesterfield. The 5
