The second part of our series looking at next season's opposition focuses on another new team. Aldershot Town was formed in 1992 after the original Aldershot FC, formed in 1926, dropped out of the League and went bankrupt. Town played at the former side's Recreation Ground and adopted the same colours. Their first league was the Isthmian League Division Three, which they won in their first season, and in 2003 the Shots won promotion to the Conference. In July 2004 the side became a full-time professional outfit, and three years later they won the Conference to earn promotion to the Football League. Last season Aldershot reached the Fourth Division play-offs, losing in the semi-finals to Rotherham United.

Like Accrington, the Shots play in all red with a change strip of all yellow. Town's ground is officially called the EBB Stadium at the Recreation Ground, which has a capacity of 7,100 with 2,000 seats. Last season, it cost
