Anti-social club

Rage Online has learnt that Oxford City Council is attaching conditions to the planning permission that Firoz Kassam is seeking to convert the interior of the East Stand into a sports injuries clinic. In the original planning permission this area was designated as space for a social club and the club shop, but Kassam has applied for a change of use to enable ths sports clinic to be built. However a public document states that Oxford City Council is going to demand that in order for the clinic to go ahead Kassam will have to complete the social club first. Whilst Rage Online commends the principle that the Council appears to be adhering to, we suspect that, if it comes to a legal battle, they haven't got a leg to stand on.
