Hereford United are this week's visitors to the Kassam stadium, and thanks to an extensive mid-week interview with Mr Gilbert from The Inbetweeners, “The View from Herefordshire”, there is not too much to add to the news stories to the right.
Last week, in a lacklustre second half-display against Crewe Alexandra, Oxford United lost 1-0 to a last minute goal. Before the game, Gillingham were ahead on goals scored (being level on goal difference), but thanks to their 2-0 defeat at Shewsbury, United climbed above them into sixth place.
United team news
After two weeks of inactivity, as expected the transfer window is seeing some changes to the first team squad. James Constable has turned down a big money move to Swindon Town, Deane Smalley has moved on loan to Bradford, and forward Oli Johnson has joined from Norwich City. The loss last week may well prompt a few changes in midfield and attack, particularly as Hereford are a team who concede few goals on the road.
Unfortunately the bookmakers now seems to have picked up on Michael Duberry's goals, and now price him up at only 8/1 to score against Hereford
Hereford news
Defender Joe Heath and United BSP stalwart Simon Clist have groin injuries, defender Ryan Green is 50/50, and Benoit Dalibard is suspended.

Chairman Tim Russon, well remembered for his pun-laden commentaries on the television highlights of the 80's and 90's, reportedly suffered nasty injuries in a bicycle accident last week and is unlikely to attend.
