A vastly, unrecognisably, better performance against Everton in the second round first leg of the Worthington Cup. United took the lead through Matt Murphy and Everton equalised shortly afterwards through Danny Cadamarteri. Jamie Cook came on for Derek Lilley and Rob Folland was replaced by Neil McGowan. Mickey Lewis made his first start of the season in central defence alongside Robbo and Steve Davis, Arendse replaced Lundin in goal and Matt Murphy partnered Lilley up front. Check out the match report for further details.
The only former United player who found the scoresheet this evening was Dave Penney for Doncaster.
