Oxford United captain Jake Wright has signed a new one-year contract extension. The pacy centre-half signed on top of his current contract and with the option of another years extension, meaning the defender could stay at the club until summer 2015. The 25 year-old signed for the Us in June 2010 following a loan spell in January that year from Brighton and Hove Albion, before the arrival of boss Gus Poyet.
After starting his career at Bradford City, he was loaned to Halifax Town before joining Crawley Town permanently followed by Brighton for an undisclosed fee. The 6
