United lost the game 3-1, after conceding three second half goals after a hotly contested first half had ended honours even. Both sides looked as though they wanted to compete, and the Yellows had a couple of neat opportunities which fell to Bradders but were unable to capitalise. After the tight first half, United let three goals in before Danny Morgan bagged a consolation.
The initial strike partnership of Bradders and Davies made way about half way through the second half for Bash and Morgan, suggesting that BT may still be looking at ways to squeeze some goals out of the side, although Chrissy was, as ever, on dazzling forms at time, something which our French friends may well have noted, if indeed we had any French friends that is.
In other news, Dave Woozley has left the club by mutual consent and is expected to sign for another club within a day or so, so expect to see his name on the scoresheet sometime soon then …
