Oxford announce four pre-season fixtures

Oxford United will face Didcot Town, Woking, Eastleigh and Coventry City as part of their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2015-16 season.

Firstly, the Yellows will visit the Loop Meadow Stadium to kick off their pre-season against Southern Football League outfit Didcot on Saturday 11th July.

Then on Tuesday 21st July, the Us travel to Woking, who finished just three points outside the Conference’s play-off places this season in seventh.

On Saturday 25th July; Oxford will then play away at fellow Conference side Eastleigh, who finished fourth last month, only to be defeated by Grimsby Town in the play-off semi-finals.

United’s visit to the Silverlake Stadium will see some familiar faces confront Michael Appleton’s men with former Oxford players James Constable, Jack Midson, Yemi Odubade, Brian Howard and Craig McAllister currently contracted to the Spitfires.

The Yellows will then return to the Kassam Stadium for their final pre-season fixture ahead of the Division Four season to play Division Three outfit Coventry City on Saturday 1st August.

United’s remaining pre-season fixtures will be announced later this summer.

Saturday 1st August: Coventry City (H) 15:00
