United visit Kidderminster on Saturday, hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the season and, hopefully, to return to pole position. York are away to Lincoln so Oxford will be hoping that the Imps can get at least a draw.
Ian Atkins will have to make at least one change to the side that beat Swansea on Monday, as striker Julian Alsop is suspended following the two yellow cards he received against Hull. Atkins has several options, including reverting to the one up front formation that beat Millwall, or bringing in Andy Scott or Mark Rawle for their first starts of the season. Obviously there are many other possibilities, but these seem the most likely alternatives. In midfield Atkins needs to decide whether to stick with Danny Brown, or bring back James Hunt, who started at Scunthorpe. Alternatively Dean Whitehead could come into the side following his impressive displays as substitute.
Kidderminster won their first two games, but then proceded to lose two on the bounce. United have won one and drawn one of their league games at Aggborough, and have yet to lose to Kidderminster. This inevitably leads us to the conclusion that United will blow it this time round (our natural cynicism shining through) and we predict a 2-0 home win.
