Our sources have informed us that Steve Basham has signed a three month contract with United, but Bobby Ford has now left the club. This may or may not be accurate, but we have a naive, touching confidence with our Baywatch-style informant.

As if this wasn’t enough the South Wales Evening Post reckons that transfer-listed Swansea player Andrew Mumford could be joining United. The 22 year old midfielder is off for a trial with Raith Rovers for a couple of days before coming to the KasStad to check out United. Yeovil are also intersted in him.
