Derek Townsley is also set to start after being the Man of the Match at Farnborough on Wednesday. Paul McCarthy is still carrying a slight knock and so won’t be risked, but Mark Rawle, who was okay if not spectacular at Farnborough, probably will get a run out.

The Sky Blues look likely to feature new signing Patrick Suffo up front alongside Dele Adebola, although Richard Shaw, Dean Gordon and Andy Morrell are all recovering from injury and probably won’t play. Scott Shearer will play in goal for Coventry, but Moroccan international Youssef Saffri is only rated at 50/50.
