It was alleged today that Paul Powell is back training with the Oxford United first team squad. Powelly was due to have a trial at Doncaster but failed to show after his missus gave birth.

It is not thought that Powell is likely to be offered a contract by the Us, but is probably just trying to keep (get?) fit. Powell has also been linked with a move to Cyprus.
