Liam Davis has agreed a new deal to remain at the Kassam Stadium, agreeing a new contract that will keep him at the club until at least 2013, with the option of a further year.
The 25 year-old joined the Us from Northampton Town in the summer, after his contract expired at the fellow Division Four side. The ex-Cobbler has impressed for United this season making 27 appearances in all competitions, including two goals coming away to Crewe Alexandra and Barnet.
The speedy, versatile player, started his career with Fulham and came through the youth ranks at Craven Cottage. He joined Coventry City and was loaned out to Peterborough United before joining Northampton permanently in 2008 on a free transfer. Davis was delighted to extend his current one-year deal signed back in late July, saying:
