Oxford United have announced the loan signing of Milton Keynes striker Lewis Guy on a one-month deal. After a disappointing start to the season away at the Don Valley stadium, Chris Wilder was baffled by the lack of firepower for the opening match and he has acted quickly to ease his woes. The 25 year-old former Newcastle United striker scored only five goals in 41 appearances for Milton Keynes last season, since joining from Doncaster Rovers in May 2010.
Guy joins the Us on a short-term deal until Monday 5th September, largely thanks to the unfortunate knee injury sustained by striker Tom Craddock, who is sidelined for a similar timeframe. The speedy forward can play on either flank or in the centre and enjoyed his first training session Monday morning, with the hope of playing some part in tonight
