Following a pitch inspection at 1.00 and a further inspection two hours later, tonight's game against Woking has again been postponed. It has been rearranged for a week today, 19 January, and if it remains unplayable then it will try to play it on the Thursday 21st and then the date of the third round, Saturday 30 January.
This new arrangement means that United's Conference game against Hayes & Yeading United, itself altered from its original date because of Oxford's FA Cup replay against Barrow, has now been put back to Tuesday 9 March. If United do eventually beat Woking then it's likely that the home game against Wrexham will also have to be rearranged in order to play the winners of the Chelsmford City v Crawley Town match, to be played on Monday, weather permitting.
Oxford's postponement leaves just two FA Trophy games on the cards tonight. Blyth Spartans take on Guiseley and Fleetwood Town face Dover Athletic, while Newport County's tie against York City tomorrow will depend on the result of a pitch inspection at 4.30 this evening.
