Oxford United kick off this bank holiday weekend with a tough yet mouth-watering fixture at newly promoted AFC Wimbledon. This is the first time the two sides have met since the shenanigans down the road at Milton Keynes led to the formation of the club in 2002. Away tickets sold out in a matter of hours, as Us fans rushed to snap up the 826 allocated tickets for the 4,722 capacity Kingsmeadow ground. United take with them an unbeaten record in the league and go into the game on the back of a gritty 2-1 victory over Stevenage Borough. Goals from Adam Murray and Alfie Potter secured the victory, with a token gesture by Yemi Odubade not enough against his old club.
