In today's big clash at the top of the Conference, third-placed York City came from behind to draw 1-1 at Exeter City, despite having Ross Greenwood sent off for handball after just 21 minutes. This result leaves York three points behind Oxford, having played the same number of games, but with a far inferior goal difference. Exeter have dropped one place to fifth, as a result of the day's other top-of-the-table clash between Burton Albion and Morecambe. Burton won 2-1 to move up to fourth, six points behind Oxford but with a game in hand. Morecambe are sixth, eight points behind United, also with a game in hand.
Gravesend & Northfleet are now seventh following their 1-1 draw with 11th-placed Aldershot last night, while Weymouth have moved up to eighth after they beat fifth-bottom Tamworth 3-1. Stevenage Borough's play off challenge faltered with a 1-0 home defeat by Altrincham, who are now 13th. Borough, in ninth place, still have three games in hand on Oxford, but are now 13 points adrift. Kidderminster Harriers are 10th after they were held to a 1-1 draw at second-bottom St Albans, with the Harriers finishing the match with just nine players.
Southport remain bottom of the table, seven points from safety, after drawing 1-1 at 14th-placed Woking. Grays Athletic remain in deep trouble, third from bottom, after losing 4-2 at Stafford Rangers, who have climbed to 15th. Last night, 12th-placed Rushden & Diamonds came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Crawley Town, in 16th place. Fourth-bottom Cambridge United visit Northwich Victoria, two places and two points above them, tomorrow.
