Leyton Monday

But not too late for an Orient preview. United visit Brisbane Road tomorrow, the scene of Mark Wright's last game in charge of the club, and there have been one or two changes since. There are injury doubts over Andy Scott, the two-goal hero of Saturday feeling a slight twinge in his groin (lucky boy), hence his substitution at Boston. Matt Robinson may also still be hamstrung, although even if fit he might find it a challenge to regain his left wingback slot after Paul Powell's impressive performance. United will, without a shadow of a doubt, stick to the same side and formation as won at York Street if at all possible, it having proven so effective in both the last two away wins.

Orient have no former United players in their ranks with which to trouble the Us, but as their 3-0 win over us last season proved, they know how to beat a team that's on its uppers. However, this season Oxford are no mugs and will be full of confidence after victories over Bristol City and Boston. Orient are also improved from last season and we expect a tightly fought game, ending 0-0. Hope we're wrong, we usually are.

It has been confirmed that United's next appearance in Landan, at the Valley in the Worthington Cup, will be on Tuesday October 1st. Charlton fans are doubtless already quaking in their boots.
