Stockley, Atkins and Waterman

Sam Stockley has had his loan deal at Colchester extended by another month. Stockley's last game was due to be this Saturday against QPR, but United have agreed to allow Stockers to stay at Layer Road until the end of October.

According to Hull City manager, Jan Molby, United boss Ian Atkins has had no contact with him concerning a swap deal which would see Andy Scott moving to Humberside in exchange for Hull's record signing Lawrie Dudfield. Atkins has said, though, that if he can make Adi Viveash's move permanent and add one more player up front then his squad would be complete, so he is certainly looking for another striker.

Dave Waterman's son Oakley has been diagnosed with cancer. We can only imagine what Dave and his family are going through and we wish him and Oakley all the best and we sincerely hope that a full recovery is made.
