Andy Scott is likely to return after missing the Exeter game through suspension, but Paul Tait misses out as he finishes his three match ban with this game. There are injury doubts over Phil Bolland who had to go off at St James Park following a collision with Ian McCaldon, possibly suffering from broken ribs. Jon Richardson is likely to deputise should Bolland not make it. Otherwise the U's are likely to be unchanged, unless Mark Wright decides to bring Manny Omoyinmi on, probably in place of Sam Ricketts, after he impressed as a substitute on Saturday.
Macclesfield should have Kyle Lightbourne up front, who appeared for United on trial in pre-season, but otherwise their main concern is wanting their goalnet back from last season's FA Cup tie. Rage Online should know better, but we're throwing caution to the wind and predicting a United victory to the tune of 2-0. If we lose this will be the last time we ever predict Oxford to win!
