According to the official Oxford United site a mystery club is poised to make an offer for Mark Watson. Hardly surprising as he must be one of the best central defenders in the division, although it would almost certainly spell disaster for United if the club was forced to sell him, especially given United's reputation for selling its best players for well below their perceived value.
On a more cheery note it would appear that Nicky Banger has decided that he doesn't have a future at United and he is going for a trial at Dundee. Banger hasn't played since his car crash and with Jamie Lambert being slightly less inept it would appear that his Oxford career has nowhere to go.
