Macclesfield tomorrow

Macclesfield tomorrow

United visit Moss Rose tomorrow night, where the club has a 100% record of success. Carrying an eight match unbeaten run away from home United need the points on their travels due to their appalling home form. Expect there to be one or two changes from Saturday's team against Shrewsbury. ROS Chris Hackett is likely to find himself back on the bench, probably to be replaced by Roy Hunter to give us a midfield of Hunt, Savage, Hunter, which is nice. Alternatively David Oldfield could be recalled to the middle three as away from home the Us will be looking at a more defensive line-up to catch Dave Moss's team on the break.

Macclesfield really are no great shakes and if United can maintain their away form and keep their concentration for the full 90 minutes then there's no real reason why the unbeaten run cannot be extended. However, as we all know these are the sorts of game where Oxford shoot themselves in the foot (or feet) and so we predict a 1-0 home win, just so we can be wrong, of course!
