Northampton preview

United travel to Sixfields tomorrow to take on Northampton in the first round of the LDV Vans Trophy. Hopefully Mark Wright will use the excuse of this totally meaningless competition to try out a new formation (something totally innovative, like 4-4-2 perhaps) or give an opportunity to new players (like Chris Hackett or Simon King, for example). Unfortunately this probably won't happen and Wright will run the risk of valuable first-teamers receiving injuries and, more likely, disciplinary points for no real reason. Not that we care particularly, but we foresee a 2-0 win to the home side.
