No braces on our trousers

No braces on our trousers

Apparently Oxford United approached former Fulham boss Paul Bracewell about the vacant manager's post at the club, but he had already agreed to take over at Halifax. This was one of Denis Smith's first moves in his new role as whatever he is supposed to be, and he is performing this task from the manager's office at the Manor because MIke Ford refused the option of moving to that office, which allegedly leaks. There have still been no hints as to who is likely to get the job, although Smith refused to rule out a return for Mark Wright, who is currently the only candidate to make his interest public.

Second Glass post

Reserve goalkeeper Jimmy Glass has had his contract extended by another month, and with Hubert Busby Junior still knocking about the U's stil have three goalkeepers registered. An appearance by Glass this Sunday against his former club is sure to increase interest levels.

Fans of the weak

This Saturday on Sky Sport's Soccer AM the fans of the week will be supporters of our very own frailties, OUFC. Let's hope that they're not as embarrassing as the team they follow.
