A big fat No!

Following further discussions between Firoz Kassam and Steve Cotterill the Cheltenham boss has turned down the option of a move to United. It is believed that Kassam offered Cotterill double his current salary, £1 million to spend on new players plus a hefty bonus if he kept United up this season. Presumably Cotterill regarded this last item as too unlikely to be taken into consideration. Kassam has been talking to other potential candidates whilst negotiations with Cotterill were proceding, so hopefully another announcement will be made soon.

Perfect revenge

United got their own back on Cheltenham when the U's reserves chalked up their first win since November. A Chris Hackett goal was enough to give the Yellows victory at Whaddon Road this afternoon.
