Tom's trial

Norwegian midfielder Tom Hammerborg is at the Manor on a week's trial this week. 28 year old Hammerborg has played in the Norwegian Premier League for Fredrikstad, Odd Grenland and Moss and would be available on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling. Joe Kinnear apparently tried to buy Hammerborg for Wimbledon but they couldn't afford him at the time, which at least implies that he should be a fairly reasonable acquisition.
