United have doubts about Scott McNiven, who has been ill all week, James Hunt, who has a hairline fracture of a toe, and skipper Andy Crosby, who has a family problem (whatever that means). This could lead to the side playing a flat back four, with Dave Waterman and Matt Bound in the centre, or could mean a rare start for Sam Ricketts who has done well in the reserves since returning from his loan spell at Nuneaton.
