Jonah's a gonner

Mark Jones, director of Oxford United's soccer courses, has left the club. The official reason is to spend more time doing up his new house. The club has pledged that the courses will continue, which is good news for this web editor's four year old, but if United continues to shed staff at the current rate one has to wonder if there will be anyone left to run the courses next term.

There will be an opportunity to question Firoz Kassam and Ian Atkins at the next open forum at the Kassam Stadium. This will take place on Thursday June 26th and will hopefully be a no holds barred session where issues can be raised with those in charge at United. Presumably the Oxford Mail will not be represented.
