It's silly season in football, as journalists and editors scrabble around for copy even the most unsubstantiated gossip is siezed upon and reported as fact. The latest rumour to surface concerning the boys in Yellow is that United are not just chasing Cardiff's Leo Fortune-West, but are also looking to sign his erstwhile strike partner, and former Oxford loanee, Gavin Gordon.
