No go Darlo

Oh well, the weather didn't permit and local official Denis Hedges recommended that the Darlington game be postponed following a pitch inspection at 11.30 this morning. Apparently the pitch was three-quarters frozen and with no imminent prospect of a thaw the decision was taken early to avoid the Darlington team and fans travelling down, which is uncharacteristically sensible. The game has already been rescheduled for this Tuesday, 14th January, which is nice and early meaning that Rage On won't be too out of date when we sell it. One advantage to the delay is that it gives James Hunt extra time to get himself fit, whilst Darlington will be without three suspended first teamers, a fact that we forgot to mention in our semi-literate preview (below).
