United's match at Shrewsbury was postponed at 12.00 today due to a waterlogged pitch. It has been rearranged for this Tuesday 8th January. The pools panel thoughtfully awarded the game to the home side, which was nice of them.

United remain 16th following Torquay's 4-1 home defeat by Kidderminster and Swansea's goalless draw with Lincoln at the Vetch. Former United players on target in today's games included Jim Magilton, who hit Ipswich's second in their 4-1 win at Dagenham & Redbridge.
