Work is not going to recommence on the Minchery Farm stadium on Monday after all. Kassam has been meeting with John Tanner and Richard Giles today in an attempt to get them to finally sign the land deal. The sticking point would appear to be the City Council's inability to pay Thames Water for the land where the Greater Leys social housing has been built.
It would appear that the JR hearing scheduled for March is only a twenty minute preliminary session. The actual hearing probably won't be heard until the Summer, so it is even more vital that this process should not prevent the land deal from being signed.
