We come to Bury freezer

United's rearranged game at Bury tomorrow evening is again in doubt due to the freezing weather conditions. There is due to be a pitch inspection at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning so that an early decision can be made whether or not to postpone the game once more. Should the match proceed then it is the first of two vital successive away games that United face against teams currently above them. If Oxford beat Bury they'll jump up to fourth in the table, that's how tight it is up the top. A draw will see them go up one place to ninth.

Following Saturday's postponement Dave Waterman should regain his place as Christian Edwards' loan spell is over and he has returned to Nottingham Forest. Lee Steele, who was due to have started against Carlisle at the weekend, should still make his first start since joining United, and Bobby Ford also stands by to rejoin the starting line-up, possibly with Roy Hunter dropping to the right wingback position in place of Scott McNiven, who has been somewhat out or sorts recently.

Bury have themselves dropped away slightly in the promotion race, losing at home to Orient on Saturday. Unfortunately this is just the type of game that United habitually lose and Rage Online suspects that, like Blair's death and destruction stance, this state of affairs is unlikely to change. We predict yet another 2-0 defeat, should the game go ahead.
