Reserves get a point

United's reserves drew 0-0 at first division Gillingham this afternoon, with Manny Omoyinmi hitting the post for United and Ian McCaldon making a couple of good saves to keep the Gills out.

Evans in the frame

United supporters trust OxVox are determined not to let their peers at York City claim all the limelight for saving the Minstermen by presenting Oxford United with a framed picture of former manager Maurice Evans at the match against Boston on Saturday. This is to commemorate Evans' contribution to the club as manager and scout.

Evans was held in great esteem by the supporters for his efforts as boss and for all the highly talented players that he discovered and brought to United. The picture represents a token of their appreciation for all he did for the club.

Appropriately, the picture will hang in the Maurice Evans lounge at the KasStad, but it will be displayed in the Exhibition Bar on Saturday so everyone can have a chance to see it.
