Reserves lose at Naaarch

Norwich Reserves beat Oxford United Reserves 2-0 this afternoon. Norwich's goals were scored by Fernando Derveld and Adrian Forbes. United rarely troubled the Norwich defence despite the presence of Kevin Francis.

Gilly? Nah, couldn't be (could it? naaaa!)

Latest rumours concerning our supposed new loan premiership left-sided defender are linking Denis Smith with bringing back Phil Gilchrist from his exile in Leicestershire. Gilly was sold to Leicester at the start of this season, after starring in United's opening victory at Stoke, following which Oxford's defence was frequently exposed for pace as Gilly's presence was sorely missed. Oxford fans would welcome back last year's Player of the Season, even if only temporarily, but with Leicester's injury problems, and Gilly's recent good performances for the Foxes, would City be prepared to let him go? It's probably just a fantasy, but what a pleasant one!
