United travel to Layer Road tomorrow night for a fixture rearranged from the Saturday to allow those poor Essex folk to concentrate on their christmas shopping. United's side will contain one forced change from the team which beat Northampton on Saturday, with midfielder Keith Andrews having been recalled to Wolves. Andrews' probable replacement will be Peter Fear, although Dean Whitehead may also be in contention. The side is likely to be otherwise unchanged, including the four centre-backs in the defence, despite Paul Powell's impressive display for the reserves in midweek. United are now unlikely to bring in any new names until the new year as managers are reluctant to allow players to leave their squads with such a heavy schedule over the next week or two. The corresponding fixture last season ended with a rare United away win, Phil Whelan scoring the winning goal sitting on the ground in the final minutes to add to Simon Weatherstone's long-range opener.
