In the only game today involving teams at the bottom of Division Two Luton Town lost 2-0 at home to Wigan to leave the gap between them and United at just (!) seven points. Hooray for small mercies.
Meanwhile Superlank Kevin Francis has moved from Exeter to Hull on a free transfer with a contract that takes him to the end of the season.
